93A Foot That Loves the Brazos

Somebody at Brazos Foot & Ankle understood something most businesses never figure out: if you are going to put your logo on a wall, make it a souvenir. So the side of the building at 2524 Washington Ave is a full retro travel badge — the rounded shield, the arched lettering, the flat color scheme lifted straight from a 1950s national-park decal — with the Waco skyline and the ALICO tower standing up behind it.

And the mascot is a foot. A cheerful blue cartoon foot, riding the Brazos, entirely at peace with its own absurdity. It is the single most committed piece of self-aware branding on this street, and the cactus planted along the base was clearly chosen by somebody who wanted the photograph to work.

We have no artist for it, and there is no signature on the wall. Whoever drew that foot deserves the credit line, so if you know, tell us.
