This is the full version of the form the silos postcard only borrows. Greetings from in script, SOUTHERN ROOTS BREWERY under it, then WACO in block letters big enough to stand in front of, each letter filled with its own scene — buildings, the suspension bridge, the ALICO, a beer glass — and Texas in red script to close it out.
It is a photograph machine and it knows it. Which is fine. The old linen postcards it is imitating were photograph machines too; that is what a souvenir is for. The pleasure is in reading the letters one at a time and seeing which bits of the town somebody decided were worth putting inside them.
There is no signature on it and no commission record we can find. It is two doors from a wall that is signed, which makes the silence a little conspicuous. If you know, tell us.
