One pair of wings on a gray brick wall, a name over each one, and in the corner, painted like a shout: HEY SIS!!
Most wing murals are anonymous on purpose — blank, so anyone can borrow them. Tom Tischler painted this pair in 2020 and did the opposite. It is one set of wings on the gray brick wall at 2204, white feathers airbrushed with sparkles scattered around them, and each wing carries a name in script above it: Priscilla over the left wing, Mary over the right, with a little heart after Mary. Down in the bottom corner, in hand-lettered capitals, is HEY SIS!!
That changes what you are looking at. This is not a photo backdrop that happens to have names on it; it is two specific people, remembered as sisters, on the block where somebody wanted them remembered. The greeting in the corner is the part that gets you — it is written the way you would actually say it, exclamation points and all.
The next wall over, at 2208, is not a second set of wings. It is the business sign, Ana’s Taxes, painted in the same white script on the same gray brick with the same sparkles, so the two walls read as one piece from the street.
Stand between the wings if you like. That is clearly allowed. But read the names first.
