From across the street it's a maroon square. Up close, it's a wall quietly bragging.

From the sidewalk this is a big maroon square with “20 Years of Awesome” on it. Walk closer. The whole background is a tone-on-tone pattern of the design company's fine print — Over 10 million shirts printed. From 1k to 23k sq ft. Think Outside the Box. — a wall whispering its résumé to anyone who bothers to lean in.

Two better secrets. The building is a 1920s luxury-car showroom with Italian tile floors and a giant indoor auto ramp still hiding inside. And before the owners found this place, they tried to buy a different Waco property in 2012: the Silos. Yes, those Silos — the ones Chip and Joanna made world-famous. Sometimes the best thing that happens to you is the building you didn't get.
