One black circular badge on a white metal wall. Behind it is a skate shop that gives the boards away.
This is the most minimal thing on the trail: a single black circular mark on a white metal building, no background, no scene, no lettering beyond the name. It works because of the confidence — whoever laid it out trusted the empty wall to do the framing.
The name is worth knowing. Middleman Skateboards began when its founder bought ten boards on eBay, wrote Middleman on them by hand, and handed them out of the trunk of his car. He had spent seventeen years as a youth pastor before that. The idea was simple and has not changed: put a board in a kid’s hand and be the person in the middle.
So the badge on this wall is a logo, but it is also a receipt. Nobody signed the painting, and we cannot find a commission record for it — if you know who put it up, tell us.
