A vintage postcard painted onto red brick, with the silos themselves standing inside the word SILOS.
The big-letter postcard is a genuinely old American form — Greetings from cards where each letter of the place name is a window onto a different local scene. This wall on North 7th borrows it exactly: an aged tan panel with a printed border, Meet me at the in script, then SILOS in tall white letters with the scene painted inside them, and the Magnolia name up in the corner.
The joke, if it is one, is that you are standing about two hundred yards from the real thing. The postcard is a souvenir of a place you have not left yet, which is a very Waco thing to be handed.
