No committee approved this, and it shows, gloriously. The parking-lot wall of a 24-hour corner shop hosts the most ambitious fantasy painting in Waco: a golden pharaoh bust glowing under a halo, pyramids on a purple desert horizon, a camel caravan, a winged scarab cradling a chrome orb — and striding through the middle of it, a teal-muscled Anubis warrior in a jeweled gold collar, painted with the confidence of someone who knew exactly how good it would look from a car doing thirty-five.

There's a UFO, too. Of course there's a UFO. The wall keeps going and gets stranger the farther you walk, tags and cartoons and in-jokes stacked like a graffiti crew's group chat made permanent. Nobody's name is on a plaque. A couple of tags are on the wall itself, the old-fashioned way. This is commissioned street art in its natural habitat: loud, uncredited, and better than it has any right to be.
